Come in From the Cold

~by Ananda Vrindavan

Come in from the cold
And warm your heart
By the fire of the holy name

Come in from the cold
Dark areas of your mind
That separate you from
Light and comfort
And make you think
-and sometimes do-
Crazy things

Come in from the cold
And warm your toes
By the fire of Krishna’s
Love for you
A love so real and true
But we are so cold
It’s hard to feel it

Come in from the cold
Stop your shivering out there
Thinking you are fine
Can do it on your own
Come come
The house is warm
The kettle singing
Accept the invitation
And be at peace
